A local facility roughly 30 minutes outside of Tallahassee is seeking volunteers to love and care for inmates in their mental health unit. These individuals are primarily experiencing cognitive decline such as dementia and Alzheimer's and are seeking volunteers who are passionate about providing care and support through crafts, music, just sitting and chatting, and more!

Description
Unchained strives to create opportunities both within correctional facilities and in the community to care for those who have experienced incarceration as well as their families. Unchained volunteers have the opportunity to participate in facility events, lead bible studies, teach classes, mentor/disciple and so much more. Some facility events can include Easter Egg hunts, pumpkin painting, snowmen crafts, etc. with the parents and their children during visitation hours to Operation Christmas where volunteers serve WITH the inmates to box gifts that will be shipped around the world. Unchained works closely with volunteers to create opportunities suited to their gifts and talents, and we are always open to new ways and ideas to serve!
