Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Do you believe in the power of kindness and compassion? Join our Volunteer Services team of dedicated volunteers and lend a helping hand to seniors and individuals with mobility limitations. Your support can make a world of difference!
Housework and Laundry Assistance:
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and organizing.
- Assist with laundry, folding clothes, and keeping living spaces tidy.
- Assist with getting the mail or bringing the garbage out.
- Possibly walk a pet.
Light Cooking:
- Prepare simple and nutritious meals for those who may find cooking challenging.
- Share your culinary skills and bring joy to someone’s day.
Yardwork and Outdoor Care:
- Maintain lawns, trim hedges, and plant flowers.
- Create a safe and beautiful outdoor environment for our neighbors.
- Assist with small home repairs.

Our mission is to help elders and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own home by providing no-cost assistance from volunteers.
Description
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. Free services are provided by volunteers to low income adults 18-59 with disabilities and ages 60+. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our program, without whom we wouldn't be able to assist the clients. There are many different tasks that are available to help keep our clients in their homes/apartments as long and as safely as possible.
