Join the Fresh Pantries’ Distribution Site Team on Saturdays in Fort Greene, Brooklyn! Every Saturday, the Fresh Pantries team distributes weekly offerings of essential groceries, fresh produce, dairy, meat, and eggs to our neighbors facing food insecurity. Come join the team, meet your neighbors, and find an impactful way to give back to our community.

Our Volunteers work hard to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution sites. We start the day all hands on deck in setting up the pantry site and receiving weekly offerings. The team gets to work preparing our location and managing the line as we prepare to open. During our distribution hours, jobs range from stocking tables and distributing food to breaking down boxes and keeping the space tidy.

There’s a place for everyone at Fresh Pantries! If you can’t do any heavy lifting, we always have other roles like helping check-in our regulars and registering newcomers! All are welcome and encouraged to come!
