Volunteer Ad - Digital Fundraising Manager
Treasured Pets Foundation (TPF) is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization incorporated in Florida. We are located in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL area. The organization was formed in 2021 for the sole purpose of disrupting, combatting, and alleviating Economic Euthanasia. We are dedicated to empowering pet and companion animal parents with the knowledge and resources needed to enhance and extend the lives of their beloved canine and feline companions. While we’ve made outstanding progress since 2021, Treasured Pets still has scores of work to do. The problem of Economic Euthanasia is enormous, and the solution complex - requiring considerable funds and abundant human resources. The Digital Fundraising Manager role is extremely vital to our organization's mission. Accordingly, the position will convert from an unpaid volunteer role to a paid career when the company is solvent.

Pay: Volunteer position that will convert to a paid salary of $55,000-$60,000
Time Commitment: 5+ hours per week with a min. commitment of six-months

Description: We are looking for a passionate Digital Fundraising Manager who is self-driven to own the project execution and analysis that helps drive a best-in-class digital and virtual fundraising program. As the first Digital Fundraising Manager at Treasured Pets, this is an incredible opportunity to make a huge impact and drive new and repeat donors that facilitate the launch of programs and take them to the next level.
A digital fundraising manager at Treasured Pets will manage and oversee online fundraising programs to increase engagement and grow fundraising. You'll develop and implement marketing strategies to support fundraising across the organization. Some of your responsibilities include overseeing digital fundraising initiatives to acquire, renew, and retain members, managing the creation and execution of online communications for cultivation, stewardship, and engagement, and assisting with the quick execution of paid social, search, and display advertising during a campaign. You will help to launch ads quickly while reviewing and optimizing their performance.
Digital Fundraising Manager Position Summary: As a digital fundraising manager at Treasured Pets will manage and oversee online fundraising programs to increase engagement and grow fundraising. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage digital fundraising and engagement initiatives and campaigns to acquire, renew and, retain donors/members.
· Oversee the creation and execution of online cultivation and stewardship communications and direct solicitations.
· Collaborate with other members of the Digital Team to optimize our website, social media platforms, and email programs to maximize digital fundraising opportunities.
· Track the performance of our digital fundraising and regularly report to stakeholders.
· Direct paid acquisition programs of new supporters (ads + list buys) and manage a donor onboarding strategy to convert as many as possible into donors.
· Serve as primary contact for fundraising tools and properties.
· Research new digital trends, tools, and benchmarks (and respond accordingly).
· Proof and assure the quality of all digital fundraising-related content before launch.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communicator, storyteller, problem solver, and creative and strategic thinker, able to keep track of many moving parts with competing deadlines.
- A team player and people person who builds strong relationships and has the skills to resolve conflict while still maintaining important and effective relationships.
- Proven ability to turn ideas into actionable and measurable plans.
- Ability to give and receive feedback well.
- Track record of working effectively across multiple differences (race, gender, age, language, orientation, urban/rural, etc.).
- Care deeply about animals, more specifically dogs and cats.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Education and Experience
- Equivalent experience and/or a Bachelor's degree welcome.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience strategizing and executing digital fundraising campaigns (required).
- At least 2 years of experience directly managing staff.
- Demonstrated experience with GoFundMe, Indiegogo, Fundly, Classy, Donorbox, or similar platforms utilized for digital fundraising (required).
- Interest and some experience working with international audiences and content.

Treasured Pets Foundation is a Florida nonprofit corporation that is currently in the process of acquiring its status as a 501(c)(3) from the IRS. However, according to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), your contributions are treated the same as if you donated to an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3). Our company does not receive any federal, state, or county funding and no funding from animal welfare organizations, including but not limited to the Humane Society of the United States or ASPCA. We rely solely on donations, grants, bequests, and fundraising events to achieve our goals and further our mission and vision.
We are part of the community whereas individuals and families value animals as enduring precious family members and treat them with the utmost respect and compassion.
With your help, we can create a support system for struggling pet caretakers who face the likelihood of losing their treasured pets and companion animals simply because they cannot afford the essential veterinary care required to save them.
