Stonewall National Monument Volunteer

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

The volunteer will work among a team of professionals who are dedicated to telling the history of the LGBTQ+ movement in New York City and worldwide. The activities will include staffing the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center front desk, hosting pop-up exhibits in Christopher Park, leading interpretive programs, and drafting content for our digital platforms.


The incumbent should be comfortable with public speaking, ready to dive into training and continued learning, and dependable. We are seeking volunteers who can commit to at least one day per week on a repeating schedule. Ability to be onsite between 10 am and 4 pm is a plus. A volunteer uniform shirt is required, and provided by the park.


All training will be provided.
