Old Pueblo Community Services is in search of a Finance Department Volunteer! Under the direction of the Controller, this volunteer position will be responsible for administrative functions within the Finance Department, such as scanning and filing documents (both physical and digital files), compilation of invoices from statements, office supply inventorying and ordering, and other duties as assigned.
The department seeks a dedicated individual to perform duties on-site for up to 8 hours a week. Hours must be completed between 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1 Scans paid invoices and files digitally, with bookmarking in Adobe Pro.
2 Files physical copies of paid invoices, and keeps cabinets organized.
3 Compiles invoices from statement listings for processing.
4 Stamps invoices received for further processing.
5 Inventories and orders administrative supplies.
6 Participates in annual archival of files, and setup of the following year’s folders.
7 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
8 Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience:
1 Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
2 Accurate data entry and 10-key by touch.
3 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4 Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
5 Safeguards sensitive information.
