Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Blog Writer to join our communications team. As a Blog Writer for Pathway to Recovery, you will play a key role in crafting compelling content that educates, inspires, and engages our audience. Your work will help raise awareness about addiction and mental health issues, share stories of hope and recovery, and promote the foundation’s mission and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Write informative and engaging blog posts on topics related to addiction, mental health, recovery, and the services offered by Pathway to Recovery.
Research: Conduct thorough research on relevant topics to ensure content accuracy and credibility. Stay updated on the latest trends, statistics, and developments in the fields of addiction and mental health.
Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that highlight personal recovery stories, community impact, and the experiences of those affected by addiction and mental health challenges.
SEO Optimization: Implement basic SEO strategies to increase the visibility and reach of blog posts. Use keywords effectively to improve search engine rankings.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications Manager and other team members to align content with the foundation’s goals and messaging. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new content.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, grammar, and adherence to the foundation’s style guide.
Content Calendar: Assist in maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely publication of blog posts and alignment with the foundation’s campaigns and events.
