Brighter Tomorrow Team Member
Hours: 6-8 hours per week
Location: Remote, Global
Reports to: Chief Editorial Officer (CEO)
Role Overview: As a member of the Brighter Tomorrow team, you will focus on finding and sharing positive news stories from around the world. Your work will highlight the good initiatives, innovative solutions, and inspiring actions that are making a difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify positive news stories and initiatives.
- Conduct interviews with individuals and organizations leading these initiatives.
- Write and edit uplifting articles that inspire and motivate readers.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to promote these stories on Yuvoice’s platform.
- Monitor global trends and developments in positive news and solutions journalism.
Qualifications:
- Experience in journalism, particularly in solutions or positive news reporting.
- Strong storytelling and writing skills.
- Ability to find and highlight impactful stories.
- Passion for showcasing positive change and inspiring action.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stories at once.
