Hi!
I'm looking for someone who works at Kohls and would like to volunteer with me! Ideally it's virtually doing like a weekly or biweekly or bimonthly meetup to discuss the progress of everything our organization is working on. We are on Benevity and really need the funds to continue the work we are doing and someone was helping before and I could send you their name or have them call you as a referral. They just didn't have time anymore but we are forever thankful for the time they gave us! The website improved so much as the videos I made. This is the newest one!
Video is a small recap of our year! We get a lot of in-kind donations but very little funds and are run 100% on volunteers, and the money would be used for gas, utilities and ziploc bags and other food prep, storage and distribution supplies that we need to buy.
We have a Youth Urban Farm and Bike Repair Program that we are trying to raise funds for and that's why I need the dollars for doers.
We just got a weekly approval with Panera and would like to provide sandwiches with said bread as well as water/juice. But for that we need to buy everything else. We can also have people come help distribute or other creative ideas! We need them and we need you!
Please support our tiny organization and help us continue to serve the community!

We believe in natural burials. We also believe that love is love and if 2 consenting adults wish to be married than they should be able to solemnize their marriage by whomever has been called to do so which is why we have an ordination program.

*Fill 5-8 blessing boxes food & hygiene products weekly (thousands of items) and at our table.

*We have given away over 150 chicken deli sandwiches, 100 beef empanadas, 400 pieces of fried chicken to not only the neighborhood but also to the firefighters & police officers.
*We had a Summer Youth Garden Program but because of lack of funds & supplies, we only had 3 kids
*We designed & made our own website using Wordpress & have posted multiple tiktok videos & facebook posts as well as LinkedIn
We NEED you!
*To help at the social media level.
*To volunteer with our fundraising efforts. We have LOTS / TONS of items that we can use for fundraising but no volunteers to help post online or door to door.
*To make the Youth Garden Program Grow in 2 folds
→ online & on-site, so they can learn about the plants & also do the planting vegetables only to eat at the end.
→ To help us plan logistics of feeding the kids/teens every session and graduation where they get a box of food including their own veggies and a certificate.
→ Have a snack before or after each session. So lots of logistics to figure out for that.
→ We need people to work outside to clear out more space for the youth garden & make a sheltered picnic area.
