About KIDD Forever

Location:

24503 77th Ave E, Graham, WA 98338, US

Mission Statement

Provide adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) enrichment opportunities focused on outdoor and farming activities.

Description

KIDD Forever will be a beacon for the community by demonstrating that IDD individuals can thrive in an inclusive environment regardless of abilities or differences. We will provide hope and meaningful enrichment activities for KIDDos and their families whose access to such opportunities have been severely limited.

We provide outdoor recreational and vocational activities. Part of the day will be doing some simple farm chores and interacting with farm animals and other farm activities. We'll be offering half and full day programming, depending on client interest and respite hours. We intend to draw clients, volunteers and staff from the Southern Pierce County communities (Graham, Eatonville, Auburn, etc.), so that no one has to fight traffic and KIDD Forever can be a localized community experience. Our goal is to serve those adults who may not be suited for supported employment placements and have few other similar enrichment opportunities. It would be great if you have some experience with lower functioning IDD adults.
