Post It Love a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that launched on Valentine's Day 2024 provides encouragement to elementary students through handwritten notes, boosting their academic success and emotional wellbeing. As a trained Post It Love volunteer, you can make a significant impact on a child's life in as little as one hour a week by creating heartfelt, colorful messages of support.

Keep in mind that note-writing can be done on your own schedule, but timely submission is appreciated to ensure students receive regular encouragement throughout the school year.

If you have a passion for children's education and wellbeing, then you're already on the path to volunteering. You'll also need to:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Have access to 3x5 index cards, writing materials, and decorative supplies (stickers, colored pens, etc.)
  • Be able to follow specific guidelines for creating notes
  • Complete the online registration process at www.postitlove.com/registration
  • Be able to mail your completed notes to our address: 9550 Spring Green Blvd. 408-338 Katy, TX 77494

Post It Love takes the quality and appropriateness of notes seriously. All notes must follow our guidelines to ensure they are suitable for elementary students. Every 25 approved notes count as 1 volunteer hour.

What's often standing between students and improved self-esteem is a few words of encouragement. We need your creativity and compassion now more than ever. Join us in spreading positivity, one note at a time!

Currently focused on the Houston area, we're expanding to other states next year. If Post It Love isn't in your area yet, consider donating to help us grow.

Mission Statement

To foster a positive and supportive environment that nurtures the emotional health and academic success of students.

Description

Post It Love aims to provide uplifting emotional support for students through weekly handwritten notes offering words of encouragement and affirmation. Our letters remind youth they are cared for and capable, nurturing perseverance and resilience. While many nonprofits offer financial help, we provide the equally crucial emotional backing students need to reach their potential.

Grounding our approach is the belief that uplifted, empowered students unlock their drive to create promising futures. Despite backgrounds, all children deserve to feel loved, valued, and fully supported throughout their education. Post It Love envisions learning environments where every student has the encouragement required to flourish.

By writing and delivering personalized notes, we bridge emotional gaps plaguing underserved youth. Our objective is facilitating environments for students of all means to thrive. With your support of administrative needs and note materials, Post It Love can continue inspiring the leaders of tomorrow. Please join us in bringing uplifting care to classrooms nationwide.
