Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada
STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
Time Commitment: 2 meetings per week, 30 minutes (days and times TBD by group); 1-2 hours per week planning and execution
Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive project plans for engineering initiatives, outlining goals, timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential application in engineering programs and curricula.
• Collaborate with engineering faculty to design and refine engineering curricula to align with industry standards and student needs.
• Assess potential risks associated with engineering projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Prepare and manage budgets for engineering programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong project management and planning skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and industry trends.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
