Gentiva Hospice is always looking for volunteersto help our patientsand their families during this difficult time. Volunteers can sit by talking to the patients, reading, or playing music, Volunteers can help with light household chores or just being there with them.
Please brighten someone day by providing your special talent .
Come and be part of the team. Application , background check and training is provided. Training is done remotely and at your pace. Volunteers set up their own hours may just be a hour or two week.

Volunteers enhance the quality of life for the patient and family reduce the caregiving . Volunteers are available to provide different types of support offering emotional support companionship. Volunteers can provide direct care music vigil administrative pet therapy to mention a few roles. Volunteers are authentic show compassion embrace accountability champion of successes and innovate for the future. Hospice certainly has been around since medieval times At that time it was a place to rest and for weary travelers to provide respite. Hospice nows go into the homes and provide a great team to provide the asisstance and care that is needed.
