We need YOU to help provide farm fresh produce for our Today's Market program.
Shoppers will have the opportunity to choose local farm fresh produce through the MN growing season, this benefits both the shoppers and the farmers.
We need volunteers who are able to move produce crates, and prepare them for transporting, this opportunity has repetitive heavy lifting (30-60lbs) throughout the shift.
When you arrive at the St Paul Farmer's Market look for a white paneled truck, it will have our Open Cupboard logo.

We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community by providing food distribution and support services with dignity and respect.
Description
Open Cupboard (formerly known as CCEFS) is a food shelf located in Oakdale. Currently, we provide food to more than 4,000 families each week through our regular Drive-Up food shelf visits, Today's Harvest Market, Delivery Program, and our Mobile Food Shelf.
During these difficult times, we know that there are many in our community who may be looking for help from Open Cupboard for the first time, or may have relied on us in the past and need us now more than ever.
Our primary service area is Oakdale, Woodbury, Landfall, and South Maplewood. However, our services are available to anyone who needs them, regardless of where they live.
To meet the ever-growing need in the community, we are in need of more volunteers! We are serving more families than ever, and we need YOUR help to keep going! There is a lot to do every day, and we wouldn't be able to keep up without our incredible volunteers.

- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- 4 hours each day
