STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit
organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM)
programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM
literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-
based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of
science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
Time Commitment: 2 meetings per week, 30 minutes (days and times TBD by
group); 1-2 hours per week planning and execution
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans for engineering initiatives, outlining
goals, timelines, resources, and milestones.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential
application in engineering programs and curricula. Collaborate with engineering faculty to design and refine engineering
curricula to align with industry standards and student needs.
Assess potential risks associated with engineering projects and develop
strategies to mitigate them.
Prepare and manage budgets for engineering programs, ensuring efficient
allocation of resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Strong project management and planning skills.
Knowledge of engineering principles and industry trends.
Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with budgeting and financial management preferred.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
