The Learning Source is in need of volunteers to support our ESL Class with our Family Literacy Program.
English as a Second Language (ESL) These ESL classes incorporate the four components of learning a language including reading, speaking, listening and writing. These classes are leveled from beginner to advanced. Students will have to take an assessment exam which decides the level placement. Description
Founded in 1964 by Sister Cecilia Linenbrink, The Learning Source began in a church basement with only 40 students, 16 volunteers, and no paid staff. Today, it is one of the oldest and largest adult education agencies in the state of Colorado.
The Learning Source "FREE" classes are for adult learners ages 17 and older. These classes include:
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Family Literacy ESL
- English Conversation Circles
- Corrections High School Equivalency Preparation
