Recruiting Organization: Seneca Falls Historical Society

The town of Seneca Falls has a rich history and is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. To preserve that history, the Seneca Falls Historical Society was chartered in 1896 by local historians. They collected artifacts at two locations before moving to the beautiful Becker Mansion on Cayuga Street. Our mission is still to collect and preserve artifacts, but we also education the community about the history of Seneca Falls and conduct research.

Our headquarters, the Becker Mansion, is looking for new Docents. Docents are taught the incredible history of the Becker Mansion and the artifacts that it houses, and then gives tours to visitors. This is a great opportunity to build your resume and have fun at the same time. No experience is required, though we do ask that you have reliable transportation.
