Mission Statement
The Mission of STAR is: To provide the best quality of crisis intervention and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and to provide education on these issues to the community.
Description
STAR is dedicated to providing support to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, as well as enacting societal change through educational outreach. STAR advocates support victims from the initial police report through the conclusion of the legal process. STAR advocates also provide one-on-one support through groups and individual support plans. STAR educators present to community groups ranging from preschool to the elderly.
