OVERVIEW Asian Connections Hub (ACH) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting mental health and well-being through innovative technology solutions. As part of our Sunnyside division, we operate the Sunnyside mental health app, providing accessible support and resources to the Asian and BIPOC communities. Our mission is to break down barriers to mental health care and empower individuals to lead healthier, happier lives.

OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated and organized Copywriter to join Asian Connections Hub. This role is essential in helping us craft compelling and impactful content that resonates with our audience and drives our mission forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write engaging and informative content for our website, blog, newsletters, and social media channels.

  • Develop clear and persuasive copy for marketing materials, including email campaigns, promotional content, and event descriptions.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.

  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our brand voice.

  • Conduct research to stay informed about relevant topics and trends within the Asian community.

  • Assist in developing content strategies that support our mission and goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in a volunteer or non-profit setting.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.

  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Passionate about the Asian community and committed to our mission.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in a volunteer or non-profit setting.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.

EXPECTATIONS

  • This is a volunteer role; we’re asking for 3-5 hours/week max to contribute no volunteer should be exceeding these hours without communication to their manager

  • Must attend meetings for team meetings and 1:1s

  • Communication is key and participation is required to commit to the project
