OVERVIEW Asian Connections Hub (ACH) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting mental health and well-being through innovative technology solutions. As part of our Sunnyside division, we operate the Sunnyside mental health app, providing accessible support and resources to the Asian and BIPOC communities. Our mission is to break down barriers to mental health care and empower individuals to lead healthier, happier lives.

OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated and organized Head of Marketing to join Asian Connections Hub. You will lead and develop marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement with Asian Connections Hub’s initiatives and events. You will work closely with the executive team to craft compelling messages, create impactful campaigns, and expand our reach across various platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the organization’s goals and values.

  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including social media posts, newsletters, blog articles and press releases.

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, programs and initiatives

  • Manage and grow our social media presence alongside our social media manager to build community engagement across all platforms

  • Identify and establish partnerships alongside other organizations, media outlets and work closely with Partnerships Department to establish relationships for collaboration opportunities

  • Establish analytics and reporting using Google Analytics for our marketing performance metrics tracking for improving engagement for our media presence

  • Lead and mentor a team to provide guidance and support marketing efforts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in marketing and community building

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing and content creation

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (Canva, Figma, Google Analytics, Mailchimp)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership and mentorship skills

  • Marketing experience

  • Ability to drive marketing efforts and establish strategy

EXPECTATIONS

  • This is a volunteer role; we’re asking for 3-5 hours/week max to contribute no volunteer should be exceeding these hours without communication to their manager

  • Must attend meetings for team meetings and 1:1s

  • Communication is key and participation is required to commit to the project
