The Hospice Massage Therapy Volunteer provides comfort and relief to hospice patients through the art massage therapy. This role is essential in enahncing the quality of life for patients experiencing ed-of-life care by addressing physical discomfort and promoting emotional well-being.

Key Responsibility:

Patient Care: Administer gentle massage therapy to hospice patients based on individual needs and prefrences. Utilize technique that focus on relaxation and comfort rather than therapeutic or deep tissue work. Communicate with patients to understand their comfort levels and any areas of discomfort.

Collaboration: Work closely with the hospice care team, including nurses, social workers, and other volunteers, to coordinate care plans. Report any significant observations or changes in patient conditions to the supervisot.
