The American Heart Association runs on volunteer power! We could use some extra hands leading up to and on the day of the event. Whatever your skills and interests are, we have an opportunity that's right for you.
We need help with:
- Pre-Event set-up
- Manning tents & stations
- Handing out water
- Running items
- Post-Event clean-up
- Other duties as needed
Every year, we celebrate our donors and survivors with a 5K fun walk and run. The Miami Heart Walk funds are destined to research and educate our community about heart diseases and how to prevent them.
Help us create a healthier world, free of heart disease and stroke by volunteering with the American Heart Association.

South Florida may be known as a retirement hot spot boasting tropical temperatures and sandy beaches, but our "café con leche" is as rich as our culture. People across our three counties are working towards making our cities healthier, especially since from one zip code to another, there can be a life expectancy gap of 15 years. Access to healthy foods, healthcare, and blood pressure management are just a few of the challenges South Floridians face. However, thanks to passionate donors and volunteers, lifesaving work is being accomplished every day. Join us as we together make South Florida a heart-healthy place to live.
