Your presence can make a significant difference to a Lily Hospice patient who is terminally ill. At Lily Home & Hospice, we strive to make the end of life as comfortable as possible for those we visit by providing care that is personalized for each individual. We emphasize our patient’s quality of life instead of the duration and strive to make this experience more inclusive rather than isolated. Many hospice patients need and want someone to spend time with, and we are looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to give them that most basic of needs - human connection.

Lily Hospice volunteers provide comfort and support through companionship, finding meaning in every moment. As a volunteer, you might spend time just talking, sharing stories and memories, listening to music or watching a movie, playing games, assisting with an activity or other non-medical tasks. There are also times to simply sit quietly with a patient to let them know they are not alone. We take our mission seriously, but we also have fun while partnering with our patients on their journey.

At Lily Hospice, we care for our patients in the comfort of their home. For some, home might be a private residence, while others might reside in an assisted living or nursing home/health center. Visitors are needed throughout the Chippewa Falls area. We do take into account your location to assign visits that are within or near your own community.

Our Commitment to You
