Role Overview:

We are seeking passionate and driven VOLUNTEER interns for our SPECIAL Development Projects. (wage listed is for after volunteer position and successful product launch, not right away) This internship will provide you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in various areas such as blockchain, AR, social media tools, backend development, and React Native mobile development. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills, build your portfolio, and work alongside experienced professionals.

Special Project Areas:

Blockchain Projects (Smart Contracts, Exchanges, Stablecoins):

Use Cases:

• Develop smart contracts for secure and transparent transactions.

• Build decentralized exchanges for seamless crypto trading.

• Create stablecoins backed by platform participation, platform assets, and balanced by issuances and reinvestments to boost circulation capacity.

• Implement multicoin transactions with internal coin representation, payouts from a central reserve, and high internal circulation.

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solidity).

• Understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain security.

• Experience with decentralized applications (dApps).

AR Camera Projects (Machine Vision, AR Games, Meta Masking and Object Tracking, AR Rendering):

Types of Applications:

• Educational: Enhance learning experiences with interactive AR elements.

• Entertainment: Develop engaging AR games and experiences.

• Utility: Create practical AR applications for everyday use.

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in AR development tools (e.g., ViroReact, ARCore, ARKit).

• Knowledge of computer vision and object tracking.

• Experience with 3D rendering and game development.

Social Media Creation Tool Suite (Sound Engineering Software, Video Editing Software, AI Media Creation):

Specific Goals:

• Develop tools for stitching content, dueting, green screen editing, voice overs, autotuning, and photo and video editing.

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in media creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, FFmpeg).

• Understanding of AI and machine learning techniques for media.

• Experience with sound engineering and video editing.

Backend Development Projects (Database Development, Algorithm Development, Q.A Testing, System Balancing, DevOps):

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in backend development languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).

• Experience with database design and development (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

React Native Mobile Development:

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript.

• Understanding of mobile development principles and best practices.

• Experience with cross-platform development and mobile app deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement project-specific solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Attend two weekly meetings: a 15-minute checkup and a 1-hour full team business meeting.

• Conduct research to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in your project area.

General Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

• Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.

• Ability to commit to 10-20 hours of work per week.

• Flexibility to attend two weekly meetings: a 15-minute checkup and a 1-hour full team business meeting.

Education & Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience with relevant projects (personal, academic, or professional) is a plus.

Team and Mentorship:

• Mentorship provided by the CTO and other internal development staff with extensive expertise in their respective fields.

• Access to online training and research resources.

Tools and Technologies:

• Required: Unreal Engine, Polygon.

• Preferred methodologies and frameworks include those listed, along with associated technologies that optimize the build.

Performance Evaluation:

• Performance will be evaluated through regular check-ins, team code reviews, and project management check-ins.

• Interns are expected to achieve milestones, culminating in a viable MVP product.

Post-Internship Opportunities:

• Potential to transition into a paid position by managing your internship project full time.
