Do you have experience conducting interviews, or consider yourself a skilled interviewer? If so this may be a great volunteer opportunity for you!
Lutheran Social Services is needing skilled individuals to help conduct mock interviews for refugee clients as they prepare for job interviews.
Most of our refugee clients are applying for employment in hotel services, restaurants, swarehouses, or the janitorial industry. So if you work in any of these fields, your experience will be useful as you will be asked to create your own job interview questions and can use your own experience to tailor to questions created.
Help play an important part in newly arrived refugees acheive self-suffciency!
