Lutheran Social Services Refugee School Impact Grant is in need of tutors for refugee youth.
Volunteers will work at schools with refugee students to provide English language tutoring after school. They may assist students with learning English, doing homework, improving conversational skills, and increasing vocabulary.
Volunteers will be asked to help after school hours, 2-3 times a week for one hour each time. (2 hour commitment weekly).
Volunteers will hellp students at a variety of Tucson schools, such as Robert Naylor K-8 School, Amphi Middle School, Amphi High School, Wriight Elementary School, and other schools as need arises.
