Key to Hope is back on Wednesday, September 25 th , at The Westin! We will be bringing our region’s forward-thinking community together to take steps toward ending homelessness. This year’s luncheon will feature a keynote presentation by Esmy Jimenez, senior reporter for the Boston Globe and co-producer of "Lost Patients," a podcast from KUOW, The Seattle Times and NPR. Through her journalism, Jimenez unravels complex topics like immigration and mental health, revealing how historic inequities and policy failures continue to impact marginalized communities.

Pre-event Preparations :
Located at the Plymouth Administration Office. Assist with creating centerpieces, labeling and more .
September 16 , 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm

Venue Set Up - 8:00-11:00am
Transform the room into a luncheon for 1000+ guests by adding place settings, centerpieces, packets and more to the tables. Please note that this is a physical activity.
Greeter/Seater - 11:00am-12:00pm
Welcome guests, direct them to the space and their seats.
Post-event Acknowledgements - October 2, 10am-2pm
Help with folding letters and stuffing envelopes thanking all of our supporters.

Plymouth Housing works to eliminate homelessness and address its causes by preserving, developing and operating safe, quality, supportive housing and by providing homeless adults with opportunities to stabilize and improve their lives.
Description
Since 1980, Plymouth Housing Group has been providing homes to the most vulnerable homeless adults in our community--those struggling with differing abilities such as mental illness, HIV/AIDS, severe medical conditions, chemical dependency, and the effects of poverty and aging. Today, over 1,400 formerly homeless adults live in 17 Plymouth residential apartment buildings in the downtown Seattle area, Ballard, and the Eastside.
Plymouth subscribes to the "Housing First" philosophy, operating on the principle that people cannot improve their lives until they have a safe, stable place to live. At Plymouth, we work hard to lower the barriers to housing so that people who are shut out of housing due to addiction, poor rental history, poverty or a criminal record have an opportunity to succeed. Our model of permanent housing, coupled with wraparound supportive services, helps people rebuild their lives, regain their dignity, and leave homelessness behind forever.
