Volunteers needed (training provided):
· Sighted guides for adult program on Fridays ('Fridays at The Fil’)
· Sighted guides for youth program on Saturdays (Comprehensive Music Program for Young People ('CMPYP’)
· Sighted guides and ushers for events and concerts
· "Roadies" to move and set up musical equipment for events/concerts
· General support!
We welcome anyone who is interested - high school or college students, seniors, parents, siblings and friends of students - all are welcome! Here is what one young volunteer had to say about his experience:
"Being around music at a music school is frequently the highlight of my Saturday mornings. Spending time with such bright, young music students is a treat. Frankly and simply put, there is no happier place on a Saturday morning than the classroom with all of the talented young music students."
