Purpose

Disaster Health Services Responders deliver crucial health care during crises, addressing clients' disaster-related needs and supporting fellow volunteers. Join our team to impact your local community meaningfully and contribute to a vital cause!

Key Responsibilities

  • Participation in chapter preparedness activities.
  • Support to the DAT response, shelter operations, emergency aid stations, outreach activities, and casework and recovery planning during a disaster relief operation.
  • Disaster Health Services workers with a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician license are responsible for acting as chapter health reviewers and acting as Staff Wellness workers during a disaster relief operation.

Experience and License Requirements

Retired or Active Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse, Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, Physician Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic
