Special Olympics Southwest Area (Butte, Anaconda, Dillon) is looking for energetic and caring community members to serve on the local board, also called the Area Management Team.
At-Large AMT members provide oversight and decision making for the team processes, marketing and finances in the area. They also pitch in when needed for community fundraisers, sports competitions and events. This is a great way "to get your feet wet" while experiencing the infectious joy and inspiration that comes with all Special Olympics activities.
This is a non-paid, volunteer role, although some expense reimbursement are available.
Be a driving factor in helping individuals with intellectual disabilities train for life through sports. If you are interested in this or other positions, please click "I Want to Help" or contact Shannon Joehnck, 406-437-8810, sjoehnck@somt.org.
