We are looking for a Secretary! This is a board position and will require ongoing commitment. Duties include

  • Attending monthly meeting (2nd Friday), taking minutes and distributing to the board
  • Maintaining roster of SVAC Boardmembers
  • Maintaining roster of public members and mailing lists
  • Creating and distributing mail/email communications to the public
  • Maintain SVAC Bylaws
  • Volunteer for tasks as needed throughout the year.

Description

Since it began in 2004, the Spokane Valley Arts Council has strived to be an active presence in our city and has pursued our goal of bringing art to the citizens in our area. Our mission is to promote, support, and enhance the diversity, quality, and accessibility of arts and culture in our region. As an all-volunteer organization, we continue to fulfill this mission, working independently but with the support of the City of Spokane Valley.
