Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated volunteer to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to raise awareness of our organization, promote our programs, and engage our community. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with our Social Media Content Creator to ensure cohesive and effective communication across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, website).
* Create compelling content to promote our programs and events.
* Design marketing materials using tools such as Canva or similar.
* Collaborate with the Social Media Content Creator to manage and grow our social media presence.
* Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
* Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing efforts.
* Identify opportunities for partnerships and community outreach.
Requirements:
* Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
* Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools.
* Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
* Experience with design tools such as Canva or similar.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
* Creativity and attention to detail.
Commitment:
* We ask for a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week.
* The initial commitment period is 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.
