Rakai District Outreach Plan
Objectives:
1. Raise awareness about BCSU's mission and programs in the Rakai district community.
2. Conduct needs assessments to identify the key challenges and priorities of vulnerable children and families.
3. Establish new partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and community leaders.
4. Enroll new beneficiaries into BCSU's comprehensive support programs.
Key Activities:
Community Sensitization Workshops
- Hold interactive workshops in various villages to educate community members about BCSU's work.
- Utilize visual aids, testimonials, and open discussions to engage participants.
- Distribute informational brochures and contact details for interested families.
Needs Assessment Surveys
- Deploy teams to conduct door-to-door household surveys in target communities.
- Gather data on access to education, healthcare, nutrition, child protection, and household socioeconomic status.
