Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a tandem bike ride for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. We are looking for a few volunteers to captain the tandem bikes for our athletes. Volunteers do not need to have a background in tandem biking but should be able to ride a bike. Training will be held before the bike ride. We encourage anyone with an interest in biking, sports, and helping others to come and join us on this wonderful ride!
Please email Jackie to register for this event: jlucido@nwaba.org

Description
The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
