Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative volunteer to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator. This role involves creating engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms, helping us to promote our initiatives and connect with our community.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and design eye-catching social media graphics using Canva or similar tools.

* Create engaging content that aligns with our organization’s mission and goals.

* Schedule and manage posts across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

* Collaborate with our team to ensure content is timely, relevant, and supports our ongoing campaigns.

* Monitor social media engagement and provide feedback on performance metrics.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.

* Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools.

* Strong creativity and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Commitment:

* We ask for a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

* The initial commitment period is 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.

The Jehovah Jireh Community Development Center Inc. (JJ Center Inc.) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving low-income families in the Washington, DC area, particularly those residing in food deserts. Founded with a mission to promote unity and provide essential support, the JJ Center operates a thriving food pantry that offers nutritious groceries to those in need.

Beyond addressing food insecurity, the JJ Center is committed to enhancing the overall well-being of the community. We offer a variety of programs aimed at promoting healthy living, including educational workshops and health initiatives led by visiting doctors. Our new initiatives are expanding to serve the elderly and children, ensuring that the most vulnerable members of our community receive the care and support they need.
