Need Volunteer Hours? Want help make a difference in patient's lives? Silverado Hospice is looking for volunteers to help bring immense comfort and companship to our patients.
Volunteer Opportunities We Offer:
- Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with office tasks to support our caregiving team.
- Memory Catcher: Recording patient’s greatest memories to preserve their life stories. (Perfect for videographers/filmmakers)
- Pet Companionship: Bringing certified therapy pets to provide comfort and companionship.
- Musicians: Sharing musical talents to uplift patients through the power of music.

Description
Silverado Hospice provides care for terminally ill patients in their home, nursing home or assisted living facilities. Hospice volunteers are ordinary people of all ages with extraordinary love and common bond concerns for others. Volunteer can touch lives in many ways. As little as a few hours a week can truly make a difference in your life and someone else's. Volunteers are integral part of the Silverado Hospice Circle of Care. Our trained volunteers spend time with patients and families to provide support and love in many ways. they keep patients company, read to them, or take them for walks. They give care relief to weary caregivers, run errands, help in the office and provide bereavement support to grieving families. Individuals with musical, artistic, sewing, and quilting skills are welcome.
