Make a Difference in Community Health!

The Phoenix Health Alliance (PHA) is seeking a passionate and creative volunteer Marketing Specialist to help us raise awareness and engage our community. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in promoting our mission to improve healthcare access and outcomes in the Phoenix area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns: Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, website, and other channels to raise awareness of PHA's programs and initiatives.
  • Manage social media presence: Engage with followers, share updates, and create a vibrant online community for PHA.
  • Write and edit marketing materials: Develop brochures, flyers, press releases, and other materials to communicate PHA's impact and engage stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze marketing results: Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for healthcare and community well-being.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms and marketing tools.
  • Creativity and initiative to develop engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Phoenix Health Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering adolescents in Dallas County with comprehensive reproductive health education and resources. We believe all teenagers deserve access to accurate information and compassionate support to make informed choices about their health.

Description

Goals:
Reduce STI and teen pregnancy rates: Through education, access to services, and building healthy relationships, we aim to empower teens to make responsible choices about their reproductive health.
Promote healthy relationships: Our programs provide resources and education on topics like healthy communication, consent, and respectful relationships.
Break down barriers to access: We strive to eliminate obstacles that prevent teens from accessing quality reproductive health services.
Empower parents and guardians: We provide resources and support to help parents and guardians have open and honest conversations with their teens about sexual health.
Create a culture of sexual health awareness: We advocate for comprehensive and evidence-based sexual health education in schools and within the community.


Our Approach:

The Phoenix Health Alliance utilizes a multi-faceted approach to achieve its goals. We:
Develop and deliver educational workshops and programs for adolescents and parents.
Advocate for policy changes that promote adolescent health and access to reproductive healthcare services.
Partner with schools, healthcare providers, and other community organizations to create a coordinated support network.
Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current on the latest research in adolescent health education.
