(No Financial Commitment Required). The Board of Director Member plays a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the strategic direction and operations of the nonprofit. This position involves working collaboratively with fellow board members and the executive team to ensure the organization fulfills its mission of helping individuals become workforce ready and gain meaningful employment opportunities.
We are looking for professionals or workers in the following fields.
The following are duties you will incur as a board of director.
1) Provide strategic oversight and direction to achieve organizational goals.
2) Assist in developing policies and procedures to support the mission and vision of the nonprofit.
3) Attend and actively participate in board meetings and committee meetings.
4) Collaborate with other board members and executive leadership to make informed decisions.
5) Support fundraising and development efforts to sustain the organization's initiatives.
6) Monitor and evaluate the nonprofit's performance and impact on the community.
7) Advocate for the organization and promote its mission within the community.
We’re currently looking for Board Members to serve for a 2 year term. For the first 3 months, the time commitment will be once a week via zoom or in person as scheduled.
After the 3 months, you will only be required to attend our monthly board meetings unless you wish to contribute more time!
