The English Learning Buddy (ELB) program connects girls from low income families in India with girls in the US and Canada, giving Indian students the opportunity to practice their English speaking skills with their peers. It further cultivates prosocial behavior and cross cultural friendships Job Summary: This position will oversee all aspects of the volunteer program, ensuring that volunteers are effectively participating in sessions and contribute meaningfully to each program. This role involves strategic planning, developing and managing programs end to end. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and organized individual with a passion for volunteerism and has a strong follow through.

• Strategic Planning: Develop, build and launch ELB Programs which run for ten week segments throughout the year
• Volunteer Supervision: Provide support to admin volunteers, addressing any issues or concerns and fostering a positive and inclusive volunteer environment.
• Program Coordination: Oversee the week to week operations of each program, including scheduling, problem solving, clear communication and ensuring the efficient utilization of the different platforms used in the program and organization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with schoolteachers and other educational institutions in India, to support their volunteer needs and opportunities. Ensuring all admin volunteers are effectively participating in each program.
• Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of the volunteer program, soliciting feedback from volunteers. Develop tools to gauge participation and provide hindsights to measure the success of each program.
