Are you passionate about supporting community needs and making a difference? We’re thrilled to invite you to become a Donation Drive Volunteer with HER Period Dignity - San Jose Chapter. Your efforts will help us provide essential hygienic items to individuals in need within the city of San Jose!
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Donation Drive Volunteer, you will organize informal donation drives with friends and family to help collect essential hygiene supplies for HER Hygiene Pantries.
Here’s how to get started:
- Spread the Word: Use social media, flyers, and other marketing tools to let people know about the donation drive and its impact.
- Collect Donations: Gather the essential hygiene supplies from your network.
- Deliver Items: Drop off the collected items at the designated locations. :)
What We Offer:
- Super Cute Free HER Merch: Volunteers who complete 10 or more service hours with us will receive FREE HER Merch as a thank you!
- Flexible Hours: Choose volunteer hours that work for you, with options for remote work.

Her Period Dignity is a youth-powered, multi-award-winning global nonprofit striving to increase menstrual hygiene and education accessibility for women and girls. To date, HER has expanded its impact to more than five countries and established over 30 chapters worldwide. At HER, we believe menstrual equity is not just a matter of hygiene-it is gender equality, income equality, healthcare equality, and human dignity.
HER provides the following services:
- We manufacture and distribute reusable and biodegradable sugar cane fiber pads.
- We offer Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) education to elementary and middle school students.
- We organize gynecological workshops for low-income employees.
- We provide sustainable employment opportunities for former inmates.
