Dept of Veterans Affairs

Get ready! The National Veterans Wheelchair Games is coming to Minneapolis in July 2025. This Volunteer will help in the CDCE office with documenting event planning and preparation as well as regular customer service in a busy office setting. If you have computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.), customer service experience, or like planning and organizing, this is the Volunteer role for you!

Candidates must complete an online federal background check and two online privacy training classes as part of the Volunteer onboarding process.

The National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NWVG) is the largest annual wheelchair sporting event in the world. Hosted in a different city each year, it is presented by the Department of Veterans Affairs and Paralyzed Veterans of America. More than 600 Veterans, 200 coaches, 500 family members, and 3000+ volunteers will participate in the annual event.

A resume is not required but can be submitted before or during the initial new volunteer appointment with CDCE.
