Seeking volunteer cooks in Boston's South End for Community Cooks

Calling all Boston volunteers!

Community Cooks is looking for new volunteers to cook ONE DISH, ONCE A MONTH to help nourish neighbors in need. Need two volunteers ASAP to each cook one dish each that serves 10-12 people. Starting in September, volunteers should be able to deliver to Casa Myrna - South End (located at a secure location in Boston's South End) on the third Tuesday of the month between 8am-5pm or prior Monday 4-8pm.

Casa Myrna is Boston’s largest provider of domestic violence awareness efforts and of shelter and supportive services to survivors. They provide a comprehensive range of services that equip survivors with tools to recover from the trauma of abuse and begin to build sustainable self-sufficiency. They operate three residential programs and a hotline and provide supportive services, legal advocacy and representation, education and community-based advocacy in both Spanish and English. Community Cooks supports Casa Myrna’s mission by providing nourishing meals to their residential programs.
