Many names of places in ancient Armenia and now Turkey have been spelled phonetically over the years. There are many spelling of the same name. We have a pdf document of many names, but need to convert it into a database excel document so that we can use it on our site, www.armeniansofwhitinsville.org. It involves a lot of copying and pasting detail work to help build out this database for our public users.

The Armenians of Whitinsville is ann archival project being sponsored by the Armenian Cultural Association of America. Our mission is to both celebrate a special community in Massachusetts and look at the Armenian diaspora some 100 years after the Genocide.
The group behind the Armenians of Whitinsville is a group of six volunteers that are building out platform for families to tell their story and contribute everything from photographs to recipes to audio and video oral histories...anything they might feel captures the character of their family. Our job is to help them gather this information, categorize and upload it onto our site.
