Purrfect Pals needs your help! Due to our rural location, Purrfect Pals has developed a robust network of offsite adoption centers.
Right now, Marysville PetSmart is in need of cat lovers with a few hours a week to spare. Age restrictions do apply. You must be 14 years of age and anyone under the age of 18 must volunteer with a parent/guardian at all times.
Offsites are fully staffed by our cat loving volunteers! Volunteers in our adoption centers spend their time caring for and playing with cats, cleaning cages, and acting as matchmakers for potential adopters. We have morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available seven days a week!
Purrfect Pals offers work and school community service hours sign off.
Unfortunately, we do not offer or fit the requirements for court-ordered community service opportunities. We also do not accept volunteers who have been convicted of any felony, animal cruelty, or theft charges.

Through placement and prevention programs, Purrfect Pals works to end cat homelessness in the Puget Sound region - Because every cat matters.
Purrfect Pals was founded in 1988 by a cat lover, Kathy Centala, who took a look around at her community and saw far too many unwanted cats and kittens whose only options were, in most cases, over-crowded shelters with high euthanasia rates.
With open colony rooms, catios, a veterinary clinic, and highly trained staff, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to all cats- regardless of circumstance. Especially those who other shelters and rescue groups might not have the resources to help.
Besides our main shelter in Arlington, Purrfect Pals has developed a robust network of offsite adoption centers and special events. Housed in pet stores, our adoption centers are fully staffed by volunteers. Purrfect Pals currently has a team of 300+ active volunteers who help make our offsite adoption programs a success.
