Fostering saves lives. Taking a cat into your home to foster not only makes life better for that particular pet, it also opens up a space for another animal to be saved from the threat of euthanasia.

Cats are eligible for foster for a variety of reasons - because they have been with us for a while, because they don’t thrive in a kennel or cage, because they have special needs, or because they are too young to stay in a cat adoption center or Rescue Care Center.

Fostering experiences last anywhere from a few days to a few months. Our foster team can help match you with a cat that needs a soft spot to land while waiting for their forever home!

Mission Statement

The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, is a highly dedicated group of volunteers that rescues abandoned or displaced dogs and cats from the threat of euthanasia by area shelters or other at-risk situations.
