We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media resources to increase our online presence and improve benefits engagement efforts. Social Media Coordinator
Position Title: Social Media Coordinator
Location: 100% Remote
Time Commitment: At least four weeks.
Reports To: CEO

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos. Resources will be provided by program coordinator.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions, and respond promptly.
- Analyze and report on key metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with other team members to align social media content with organizational goals and campaigns.
- Assist in planning and executing social media events and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in social media management is preferred but not required.

The mission of My New House is to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families focusing mainly on the aid and struggles of single mothers by providing access to basic needs and services so that they can enjoy a life of dignity.
Description
My New House is a 100% volunteer-based organization that started its journey in June 2016 with the development of a thrift store. People buy new and gently used clothes, shoes, housewares, life accessories, and furniture at very affordable prices. With the help of fundraisers, My New House allocates money to help single mothers who struggle to pay utility bills. The eligible single-parenting households benefit from receiving a year relief of gas or electricity expenses. The name "New House" reflects the ambition that the people we will serve will eventually have a new house and that this new house will be better than the old one. Our final goal is the development of a resource center where individuals will benefit from receiving all kinds of services such as a dental clinic, psychological assistance, a food bank, a thrift store, etc.
