When the Olathe Public Schools are in session, we have volunteers who pick-up the extra food from the middle and high schools. The food is then brought to our location and divided up among the people who have signed up that day. You could either be a driver or someone who helps repackage the food. The time from is usually 1:00 PM to about 4:30 PM.

Mission Statement
Inspiring and empowering people to make a difference in their communities one life at a time.
Description
Our community center, "The Beach" acts as the connecting point to provide community service to those of all ages and abilities.
We keep thousands of pounds of perfectly good food from hitting the landfill and redistribute it on our "no questions asked" food section as well as to local pantries.. We have potluck lunch, haircuts and health screenings on the second Saturday of every month. Blessing bags and sleeping mats for our homeless. Supply hundreds of full-sized toiletry bags to students in need. We are a community partner for 3 area schools. Work with locals businesses to provide community service for their employees. Fox 4 News Kansas City recently shared our founders story: https://fox4kc.com/remarkable-women/johnson-county-womans-food-pantry-making-difference-one-life-at-a-time/
As a 501c3 non-profit founded 2014, in Olathe Kansas, we Connect Lives, Resources and Acts of Kindness. We don’t focus on one type of person or problem; we focus on the true needs of our community and encourage others to do the same.
