Have you had personal experience of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia? If so, and you understand the challenges that being a caregiver can involve, have you thought about sharing your experiences to help others in a similar role?
The Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada is looking for volunteers to help schedule and deliver education programs out in the community, and co-facilitate support groups for people caring for loved ones with dementia. As our state's aging population grows, we need more volunteers to help provide these critical services to the community. Join a team of dedicated volunteers and experienced staff who will support you through training and onboarding until you are comfortable delivering programs.
