ORGANIZATION: ROYAL ROOTS OF FREEDOM

Program Assistants/Mentors are essential in preparing the building for use, assisting participants throughout their program activities, and upholding a welcoming environment conducive to healing. Unlike Primary Mentors, who work closely with assigned participants to establish and achieve specific goals, Program Mentors provide support as needed, serving as a sounding board or a safe space for participants who require immediate emotional support or simply need to vent.

Every Volunteer must be in full alignment of and practicing our statement of faith.

Statement of Faith: We believe the Bible is God's inspired word and is useful for each generation. We believe in the Trinity, that God exists Three-in-One as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, working together from creation until this day. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, died for our sins, was buried, and that He rose again on the third day. We believe that Jesus is the Messiah, that He is equal with God yet humbled himself to the point of death, and that every knee will one day bow to Him and declare Him LORD.

About ROYAL ROOTS OF FREEDOM

Location:

1601 Southwest Parkway, COLLEGE STA, TX 77840, US

Mission Statement

Through immersion in God's word and His ways and understanding of health and healing, we seek to bring women out of their emotional pain and leave them firmly planted in their royal roots where they can live in freedom through Christ.

Description

Royal Roots of Freedom offers Christ-centered, proven and extensive mental health services for women in need.
Our Method: After initial acceptance into the program, our method begins with an assessment of the specific needs of the client. We first address what has kept freedom from happening, the commitment necessary to finally be free, and the evidence that it is possible for everyone. Each client will receive personal mentoring that will guide them through proven psychological methods, Biblical materials, and relational life skills, while providing a place to explore many modes of healing. Specific goals are identified based on previous coping skills and on observation of what has or hasn't worked in the past and individual obstacles.
