About Us
The Affiliate Board of the Leukemia Research Foundation (Jr. Board) is a group of young professionals committed to supporting the Foundation’s mission to conquer leukemia. Together, we’re dedicated to advancing research for a cure and improving the lives of those affected by leukemia. The Affiliate Board comprises individuals in the early stages of their careers and provides opportunities to connect, socialize, and fundraise for a meaningful cause.

The Leukemia Research Foundation's mission is to cure leukemia by funding innovative research, and to support patients and families.
Description
As the nation's largest nonprofit focused exclusively on funding leukemia research, our grants are accelerating the development of new and better treatments and an ultimate cure for leukemia.
Through our patient-centered approach, access to leukemia experts, and nationwide partnerships, our support programs help patients and their loved ones navigate every step of the cancer journey.

- We ask that you commit to attending all our major events, including the ABC7 Gibbons 5K in June and our signature event in the fall. Additionally, we hold approximately eight meetings a year, which are a combination of in-person and virtual sessions.
